But I don't think avg has anything that would prevent steam from working properly after u uninstall it. Trashy software has a tendency to leave its own refuse burried deep in registry/system files which can bork you over even after you uninstall. Also verify that avg didn't ♥♥♥♥ up steam files. If I were you id uninstall that crap then uninstall e.y.e. which only left nod32 is a semi competent anti-virus and those werent free. I stopped using firewalls and antivirus about 5 years ago once zonealarm went to crap.
